Homeschool Mountain Biking

Mountain Biking Starts Aug 29, 2023

Come outside and join us on the Trail! This program is for homeschooled Boys and Girls ages 8-14 and we will meet at the Kincaid Park Ski Stadium. PARENTS are encouraged to bring their bikes and ride along!

This program is designed to be a FUN, EXCITING and FAMILY FRIENDLY way to learn and improve your Mountain Biking skills. We will take the riders out on the trails and teach them the proper techniques so they can be confident riders and live an active lifestyle. We will meet from 1:00-2:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is a great way to help fulfill your student’s PE requirement and many homeschool providers will reimburse you for this program. Contact your homeschool provider today about the best way to get reimbursed.

Required Gear: Properly Fitting Helmet, Close Toed Shoes (no Crocs), Bike with at least 20″ Wheels, Multiple Gears (Not single Speed) and Hand Brakes, Water Bottle, Wind Breaker

Recommended Gear: Bike gloves, Protective eyewear, Bug dope, Padded bike shorts.
