Adult Volleyball League

THIS LEAGUE IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!

All of our Adult Leagues are Self-Officiated. Players are expected to play fair, know the rules, and maintain the integrity of the game, without the help of an official. This is different from how most of us grew up playing sports and requires a shift from the win-at-all-cost, play-till-the whistle-blows mentality. As CSA adult players, we must realize that the content of our character is much more important than the final score. Players should play hard and be competitive, but not take advantage of and knowingly bend or break the rules. This self-officiated league reinforces mutual respect, trust and conflict resolution between opponents both on and off the court or field.

Teams will play a 8 week regular season and each game will be from 8:00-9: 00pm at the Arctic Rec Center. There will also be a single elimination, End of the Season Tournament the week of April 15th. Tournament games will be from 8-9pm or 9-10pm.

The Women’s League plays on Tuesdays and the Co-ed League is on Thursdays. For co-ed, there must be at least 2 female players on the court at all times and when a team plays the ball with two or more contacts, at least one contact must be made by a female.

Register as a Team Captain or a Free Agent and insert your “Friend Requests” during registration. I will do my best to honor all of the friend requests. Captains, if you have a “Full Team” (8 or more players) please indicate that during registration, and I will make sure I communicate with you before adding any free agents. It is good to have 8-10 players per team since life and injuries end up preventing some players from playing each week.

Registration fee for each player is $110.

This is our first year running this league, so please provide feedback! We want this to be a FUN, POSITIVE and ENGAGING experience for all of our players.

End of Season Tournament: Women’s – April 15th, Coed – April 17th
